Transcend Unplugged x York
Welcome to Transcend Unplugged x York - an evening of song, opera, and musical theatre performed by Sam Young (Baritone) and Gillian Holmes (Piano).
Join us in the intimate setting of the Chapel at St Peter’s School, York for a varied programme to include Vaughan Williams’ ‘Songs of Travel’, alongside operatic arias by Mozart, Rossini and Korngold and a selection of songs from musical theatre.
This event is a Transcend Sarcoma fundraiser with all funds being directly allocated to Sarcoma research. Transcend is raising awareness and funding for Soft Tissue Sarcoma research bringing people together through music, movement, art and food. You can read more about the work Transcend are doing here.
Doors open at 6:30pm for refreshments with the performance due to begin at 7:30pm.
Transcend Summer Party
Transcend are hosting a Summer Festival on August 3rd and we’d love for you to join and help grow our community. This will be a celebration of the last 6 months of Transcend and all the achievements along the way, with 100% of the ticket proceeds going towards Sarcoma research.
A maker’s market, live DJs and bands hosted in Big Penny Social, a pub all about community - think microbrewery, arts centre and town square all rolled into one.
